The NBA season is underway along with the "No Fufuness" Fantasy basketball season. Last week I posted about each team's draft grades and listed their respective rosters. This is the 3rd installment in the "No fufuness" fantasy basketball league story; To Catch up on the last story of the fantasy basketball leage press the button below.
Power Rankings: On this edition of the "No Fufuness" story, we are going into Power Rankings. Power rankings are a form of seeding teams in terms of actual performance rather than what the actual league rankings state. Meaning if a team jumped a couple places in the actual rankings, they could be ranked higher in the Power rankings because they performed well that week. Since this is the first week of power rankings and there aren't any previous changes, we'll rank this week by the actual ranks instead.
How to decipher the scoring ranks in fantasy: The method of scoring used in the "No Fufuness" fantasy basketball league is Rotisserie.
Aside from your typical awards - MVPs, DPOY (Defensive Player of The Year), ROY (Rookie of the Year) - The NBA also awards the best players in the league every season, at the end of the season, by creating these "All-NBA" Teams. There are three teams, All NBA 1st, 2nd, and 3rd teams each with a "Starting 5", if you will, depicting the best players in that respective season. The All-NBA 1st team being the highest honor and the NBA's model players. Here are my predictions for the All-NBA 1st team with a brief description of each player. At the bottom of the post you'll see a list of my predictions of the 2nd and 3rd team.
ALL NBA 1st Team
F Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs
Kawhi Leonard is the reigning 2 time Defensive Player of the year and is already showing signs of exploding in his first two games of the season. Exploding with 65 points and 10 steals through the first 2 games.

1. Team Not Commish
GM: Aldemar Draft Grade: B+
Team Not Commish has an abundance in experimental Point Guards and lots of star power in his best 5. However, he lacks depth in the Front court. Rumors have it there seems to be a trade in the mix. Expect heavy usage of Kevin Durant.
It's way too early to have any certainty on what exactly will go down this season, let alone in the post season. Yet having seen the Preseason results and Team's final roster cuts, it's fun to come up with predictions. On paper, here's what I think will happen come May/June 2017.
Eastern Conference Finals Matchup
The Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to make it all the way to the Finals, so to have them here should come as no surprise. As for the latter team, it's kind of a toss up on who can make it. It may be a bit of a reach but I really like this Boston Celtics roster, they're well rounded defensively and balanced offensively. Not to mention, Head Coach Brad Stevens has brought out the best of this team. If this truly turns out to be the Eastern Conference Finals match-up, I have the Cavs winning the series in 6.
Background Information on the Fantasy League
What is Orlando's "No Fufuness" fantasy league?
Orlando's No Fufuness fantasy league is a fantasy basketball league hosted by ESPN's fantasy sport games, primarily hosted by team owners that live in the Orlando area.
How did the league get its name "No Fufuness"?
First, fufu is an adjective and it's basically a word that is used to describe something that is flawed, not to standard, and can be seen as fake/two-timing. Now that the definition is out the way, you need to understand the Egos at play here. Some of these Egos, have not allowed the league to prosper as a whole in years past. This year, we hope to see some progression and actual prosperity in the league.
How long has the league been in existence?
This season is now in it's fourth installment. With there being three previous season's that didn't end so well. Every year we have basically the same core group of team owners, with a few fresh faces.
When is the draft?
The draft is on Sunday, October 23rd, 2016. And it's been tradition to host the draft on the Sunday before the regular season begins.
